Samantha is a flawless hostess - her caring, nurturing presence fills every corner of her beautiful, cosy home and touches you from the minute you walk in the door. Every need is catered for, from a bed you sink into with soft cotton bedding, a well-stocked breakfast tray, your own bathroom, tranquil surroundings, and stunning views. Needing a break and some respite, I was delighted to find this lovely, very reasonably priced retreat where I spent a few days reading, writing and exploring the diversity of North Devon beaches, Westward Ho!, Instow and Appledore and great hospitality and good food at the Globe Inn Beaford. I shall certainly return. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with perfect hostessing and beautiful landscapes, look no further.

We had the most wonderful weekend staying with Samantha she could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely, so was the view, and the bed is the most comfortable I have slept in. We were thoroughly looked after and given plenty of information on what to do in the area and the best local pubs that did excellent food sourced from local suppliers. A great place to stay if planning to walk the Tarka Trail too. I could not recommend more highly.

Samantha and Adrian are the loveliest, heartwarming couple we have ever met, and you would not regret a stay in their beautiful home, thankful they shared it with us for 3 glorious nights.
